George Anderson

The Reading Half Marathon Training Club is run by George Anderson and Kinetic Health and Fitness. George is one of the UK's top running training advisors and has worked closely with the Sweatshop on the Reading Half Marathon since 2002.

George has worked with runners of all abilities since 2000 and runs personal training company Kinetic Health and Fitness in Berkshire, UK. He is also a senior lecturer on personal training diploma course, specialising in postural analysis and strength conditioning.

In 2009 George launched the Race Series Training Club to help runners train for the Dublin Marathon and it was off the back of this success that the Reading Half Marathon Training Club was born.

George has also been running Training Day running workshops in Reading, Dublin and Cork for the last 2 years, working directly with runners to help them improve their running.

Over the last 20 years George has competed at all distances from the 400m to the marathon, with personal best times for the marathon of 3:17 (Dublin 2006), half marathon 1:17 (Reading 2003) and 10k 33:50 (Clare 2006).
